  • Friends in High Places – Archangel Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst, Our Violet Flame Helpers! Part 1 of 2

Welcome to the latest in our ongoing blog post series entitled Friends in High Places – Our Violet Flame Helpers. From time-to-time here at Violet Flame World, we introduce and share information with you about various friends in high places and how you can get to know these violet flame helpers better!   Several years ago, a close family member told me if later in life I had even a handful of true friends, I would be very blessed. At the time, I didn’t think that was much of a hurdle to clear but now I understand how true those words were.   Today, I am indeed very fortunate to have a small number of true friends. They’re the ones I can trust and be myself around—those who don’t measure me by my college GPA, the size of my bank account, or other worldly standards. They’re the ones I’ve walked through life with—not just the good times, but the challenges as well. Perhaps you have friends like this too.   We have many friends in heaven who love us as much as our closest friends on earth do. These friends are called ascended masters. We can think of them as the saints in heaven. There are many ascended masters who want to help us. They are indeed our friends in high places!   In this blog post you will receive a “twofer” as we are introducing both Archangel Zadkiel and Archeia Holy Amethyst as our newest friends in high places and violet flame helpers!   As you may know, an Archangel has the highest rank in the orders of angels. And an Archeia is the feminine divine complement or twin flame [1] of an Archangel.   Archangel Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst impart to us the gifts of soul freedom, justice, mercy, and forgiveness. They provide assistance with tolerance, diplomacy, and learning how to forgive. In addition, Archangel Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst purify the seat of the soul or Svadhishthana chakra. Their blessings to each of us are magnified on Saturdays. Seat-of-the-soul chakra The name Zadkiel means “Righteousness of God.” Archangel Zadkiel can dissolve painful memories and negative traits and help us develop tolerance, tact, and diplomacy. You can ask him for help in successful negotiations and agreements of all kinds.   In rabbinic tradition, Zadkiel is known as the angel of benevolence, mercy and memory. In some traditions, he was the angel who held back Abraham’s  hand when Abraham was about to sacrifice his son Isaac. Archangel Zadkiel intercedes in the lives of Abraham and Isaac [2] Holy Amethyst was one of the angels who ministered to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  The Archeia Amethyst comforts Jesus Creating Miracles with Archangel Zadkiel, Holy Amethyst, and the Violet Flame   Archangel Zadkiel [4] How many times have you heard yourself or someone say: “O God, I really need a miracle now!”   A miracle is a sudden transmutation or change which takes place when someone has garnered enough light, enough violet flame to apply such a momentum of energy into a specific problem that it causes instantaneous change in the etheric, mental, emotional, and physical planes.   Archangel Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst can help you create miracles in your life. Following are some of the techniques you can use! Have Faith in the Power of the Archangels to Bring About Change   Let your aura be bright with faith – faith in God and the fire he has placed in your heart, faith that the angels do answer your prayers. And remember, your prayers are always answered, even if it is not always in the way you think it should be.   Be Specific in Your Intention   According to cosmic law the angels may not intercede in our lives unless we pray to them and give them specific assignments. This law is based on God’s recognition of our free will. At this very moment angels are waiting for your direction. Millions of violet flame angels will respond to your prayers – you simply have to ask! Saturate Your Aura with Violet Flame   The momentum of violet flame you build in your aura through daily mantras and decrees creates a storehouse of violet flame that will be available to you exactly when you need it!   Think of your aura as a violet-flame fountain—an ever-flowing source of light for everyone you meet. Always have violet flame stored and present within you, ready to be shared whenever someone is in need.   Become Involved   One key to change is to become involved. You are the open door through which the violet flame Light comes to earth.   Align yourself with a group dedicated to a just cause—one you feel inwardly called to support. As you offer your violet flame mantras and decrees on their behalf, witness how momentum builds and change unfolds in service to a shared goal.   Stay tuned for Part 2 in this series where we will provide you with many profound resources you can use to get to know and serve with Zadkiel and Amethyst better!   Until then, angels be with you… “There are angels near you to guide you and protect you, if you would but invoke them. It is not later than we think, it is a bigger world than we think.” - Fulton Sheen Credits and other info Information on Zadkiel and Amethyst based on teachings from the books Talk with Angels  and The Masters and Their Retreats  by SU Press [1] In a future blog post, we will introduce the concept of twin flames along with the role of the violet flame in enhancing relationships!  [2] Zadkiel interceding. • Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife - Part 3 of 4

A Heavenly Adventure Awaits Celestial cities, meals out of this world, a heavenly spa? It all sounds like a dream vacation of sorts but the possibility of these experiences and more in the next world are very real!   Welcome to part 3 of our ongoing series, Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife . In this post, we will reveal just a few fascinating possibilities that await you at the conclusion of this life. As discussed in part 2 , we will continue our focus on the etheric plane or heaven world. Our hope is to inspire you to reach these higher realms and encourage you to avoid the astral plane or lower realms altogether! For many of us, the ideal vacation requires a combination of factors, including: Making informed destination choices Having the necessary financial resources Getting approval for a temporary absence from work and other responsibilities Planning how to best spend time at your dream destination Reaching our “dream destination” in the next world requires similar effort and more , including: A lifetime of planning An abundance of spiritual currency (i.e., good works and positive karma) Payment or repayment of spiritual debt (i.e., balancing negative karma) Honest spiritual self-reflection and accepting accountability for our thoughts, motives, and actions Treating others as you would like to be treated Beyond the Physical – Welcome to the Etheric Cities! In the etheric plane or heaven world, there are great cities of light located at various points on Earth. These etheric cities are even more real than the ones we currently inhabit. They are experienced through the senses of the soul in a dimension and consciousness beyond our current physical awareness. In these cities, souls prepare to reembody. They have petitioned heavenly beings for another opportunity to work out their destiny in the world. These waiting souls live, work, and serve in situations similar to those they left on the planet. However, the etheric cities represent what Earth is intended to be in a golden age. In the etheric cities, there are great temples of light and homes similar to those we know on Earth. There are temples of worship and healing, as well as ideal forms of government, education, art, and music. Those who spend their time between embodiments in these cities have much to contribute in their succeeding lives. They typically are very idealistic in their next embodiment, recalling the joy and happiness they experienced while living in these etheric homes of light. They come with great hope that they can recreate the beauty and peace they have known in the etheric planes. The etheric cities show us how the world can be again in a future golden age! In part 2 of Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife , we referenced the book Messages from Heaven . It chronicles the experiences of a soul who passed from this world and was given the opportunity to communicate with close family members here on Earth. Following are two excerpts from the book that describe what this soul experienced and shared from the etheric plane or heaven world: Meals Out of this World! “Our meals are spectacular! We drink many juices that are like the pure essence of any fruit or vegetable you can imagine. Everything we consume seems light—not heavy or dense in any way. We do eat regular meals and have occasional banquets. Most of the food is different from anything we were used to on Earth and ten times better!” A Spiritual Spa “I was given certain baths of light with the violet flame. These were prepared by Master Alchemists to provide the exact amount of blue or pink color in the violet that each soul needs to raise their vibration and draw their full being into wholeness.” Violet Flame – In Part 4 , the concluding post in this series, we will share with you the secret of the violet flame and how to experience its profound benefits in your life! Mirror, Mirror on the Wall You may remember the famous line from the classic Walt Disney movie Snow White : "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?" If you have studied esoteric literature, you may have encountered a reply to this question that carries a deeper meaning: “ Why, I AM!” You may also have an experience with a special mirror in the next world. It is commonly referred to as the Cosmic Mirror. What is the Cosmic Mirror? In the esoteric classic book Unveiled Mysteries , the Cosmic Mirror is described as a “mirror of living light”—“a cosmic screen, upon which living pictures in all dimensions could be portrayed, with no limit to the space that could be observed.... Everything which had or ever could take place in all Eternity might be made visible on this screen, if the Directing Intelligence so desired.” At first glance, the Cosmic Mirror looks like an ordinary motion picture screen. The Master selects certain records taken from akasha which are also contained in the memory of the soul, and upon the Cosmic Mirror, they come alive. This is beyond 3-D—you are there! A portion of a past life, or more than one, passes before you, but you are a living part of this nonfiction play of light and darkness with shades of grey. It is almost too much to handle as you relive the emotions, the premeditated thoughts, and the acts themselves. Throughout this experience, you sense your Higher Consciousness standing guard, gently but firmly reminding you not to give way to the extremes of ecstasy or despondency. Your Higher Self assists you in facing the future with hope based on the knowledge that, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, you have the power to change. A few segments of a session are given, and you soon see the need to apply the violet flame to those scenes and memories until balance is restored! A somewhat similar and humorous experience like the Cosmic Mirror can be seen in this excerpt from the movie Defending Your Life . A Spiritual Board of Overseers Have you heard about people who experienced a near-death experience (NDE)? Oftentimes, the person who “died” and came back recalls an experience where their life “passed before their eyes.” Perhaps this is because, after each lifetime on Earth, we meet with a group of heavenly beings known as the Karmic Board. After our just-completed lifetime, we review our greatest accomplishments and where we may have fallen short. With the assistance of many heavenly beings, the Karmic Board has access to the complete records of all our lifetimes on Earth. They also determine who shall embody, as well as when and where. In addition to our end-of-life review, we meet with the Karmic Board before each lifetime to receive our assignments and the families and communities we will be part of. How the Life Review Works The book Messages from Heaven continues where our new-to-heaven soul describes a portion of his own life review: “Very early on, I was allowed to review my entire life. Everything was so vivid. Every moment spent in anger, impatience, fear, or self-pity seemed so wasted. I was instantly made aware of the patterns or momentums, both positive and negative, that had been part of my life. I was grateful for any time that I had served with an unselfish heart and for the times that I had loved and honored life or made the honest or just choice. I was painfully aware of the ways I had wasted energy or blocked my own progress through often foolish but embedded habit patterns. The basic questions are: How did you use the hours of your life? Essentially, how much of your life have you served God in your fellowman and in your day-to-day actions? How developed is your heart chakra? You are allowed to give your own comments on the assessment of your life. This is followed by a meeting with a board of heavenly beings who provide their analysis of your life. You are shown past lives where you can see clearly the origin of many of your habit patterns and the reasons for many of the events that took place in your life. There is a recording angel for each of us. Nothing is missed. God is not mocked or fooled in any way. We only fool our human self by our actions. Deep inside, the soul always knows what is right or wrong, but many try to deaden themselves to that voice. During this review of lifetimes, I was allowed to know what I needed to balance and what I did balance. The tone of the review was loving and positive, not judgmental. It was a time of great learning for my soul. In many ways, you are your own judge, as you can see clearly where you have erred. I felt highly motivated to get on with what I still needed to transmute. I wished I had realized many things while I was in embodiment. That is why I feel privileged to share this, so that many others may take the opportunity to face themselves while they are still in embodiment. A helpful exercise for each of you would be to run the film clips of your life, so to speak, and begin to look at how you have utilized the hours of your life. Notice the progress you have made. Perhaps you are a totally different person than you were ten years ago. That counts for much in heaven. Do not get stuck in self-reproach. Make each day count toward the new directions you want to take. Extra points are given for lessons you have genuinely learned and tests you have passed, even if not on the first try. Taking Action - Preparing for the Afterlife Would you like to further develop your heart chakra and begin expressing a love like the one described by the soul above? If so, we encourage you to give these heart-centered mantras a try! These are just a few experiences you can look forward to in the next world. In our next and concluding blog in the Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife series, we will provide you with a roadmap (i.e., your highway to heaven!) along with some of the tools you’ll want to take with you on the journey! • Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife - Part 4 of 4

Welcome to our concluding article in the Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife  series. Previously, we shared insights with you on the purpose of life, the understanding and overcoming of the fear of so-called death, the various levels of consciousness in the next world, and some of the fascinating experiences you may have in the heaven world! In this article, we will tie it all together by offering practical advice and practices to help you reach your highest ideals in this world and the next! Do you remember the description and purpose of the cosmic mirror in part 3 of this series?    Imagine watching a 3D movie of your life in the next world as part of a life review – one where you will experience full awareness of your every thought, feeling, motive, and action. Though this experience may sound daunting at first, you will have much divine guidance and loving support every step of the way! I believe everyone wants their life’s movie to be a box office hit—a story of their soul overcoming challenges, achieving growth, and experiencing triumphs   You are not just a passive participant in this story either – you are the producer, director, and star of your own life. And to help you create your story, we offer “Seven for the Soul” – a series of practical, yet transformative steps for all who aspire to someday reach the highest levels possible in the heaven world!   Seven for the Soul   • Cultivate balance in every aspect of your life • Make the most of your time • Contribute selflessly to the well-being of others • Balance karma by transforming negative energy into positive energy • Embrace self-awareness and soul resolution • Discover your purpose and fulfill it with passion and commitment • Give violet flame regularly to create and amplify positive energy   Cultivate balance in every aspect of your life We should all strive to seek balance in every area of our lives – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Imbalance in any one of these can delay soul progress.   Spiritual progress requires balance and harmony across all areas, not just spiritual devotion alone. It is also important to avoid “Spiritual escapism”, the neglect of daily responsibilities, or overemphasis on devotion without grounding. Balance is practiced by living spirituality in daily life, not withdrawing from it!   In the classic movie The Karate Kid , Mr. Miyagi shares a brief but profound insight about balance with his young apprentice Daniel: Make the most of your time   Years ago, I remember playing dominoes with my grandfather. It was late at night and he suddenly looked at me and said very earnestly: “Time waits on no man.”  It wasn’t long thereafter, that his earthly health began to decline until one day he was completely in heaven.   Time is our most precious resource and as Benjamin Franklin once said: “You may delay, but time will not.”   My spouse and I have reached a place in our lives where we no longer have to answer to an alarm clock every day. We are empty nesters and relatively secure financially. In reflective moments, I often share that my greatest desire now is the gift of time (and health). And one of my primary goals now is to become better at everything on the “Seven for the Soul” list!   Here are some recommendations to help you make the most of time: • Maintain a healthy lifestyle including a balanced diet, exercise, breathing fresh air, etc. • Prioritize what truly matters • Don’t let distractions keep you from your potential In parts 2 and 3 of Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife we referenced the book Messages from Heaven  [1]. It chronicles the experiences of a soul who passed on from this world and for a time was given special opportunity to continue communicating with some close family members here on Earth. Following is an excerpt from the book which describes what this soul experienced and shared from the etheric plane or heaven world regarding the use of time:    “…A helpful exercise for each of you would be to run the films clips of your life, so to speak, and begin to look at how you have been utilizing the hours of your life. Notice the progress you have made. Perhaps you are a totally different person than you were ten years ago. That counts for much in heaven.”   “Another helpful exercise would be to stop at the end of each day for at least one week and assess where your energy and time has gone:   “How much time was spent in gossip?   “How much time was spent being annoyed or hurt?   “How much time was spent learning?   “How much time was spent watching TV?   “How much time was spent in idle conversation?   “How much time was spent helping others?   “How much time was spent in prayer?   “How much time was spent without meaning and purpose?   “How much time was spent on your job?   “Patterns will emerge and, if you are honest with yourself, an improved use of time can be established.” Contribute selflessly to the well-being of others Did you know you can create positive karma through selfless service to life? Your service can be very ordinary in the eyes of the world and that’s just fine – the point of true service is to uplift all whom you meet. Our goal should always be to love to serve and serve to love!   And our friend from the Messages from Heaven book has something to say about service too:   “I can’t emphasize enough the importance of service – helping others. Service that is given from the heart is the equivalent of money in heaven! I am so grateful for every time I helped someone…   It helps you tremendously to have served life. Service transforms the server. Purely motivated service is like light…  People should look for ways to serve and not ways to be served.”   Ultimately, getting to the heaven-world really doesn’t have to do with what your religious doctrine is. You can belong to any religion or none. What it has to do with is how much you have loved. One gets to heaven by the expression of love toward life that is a pure love – a love that is not controlling, not deceptive, but simply desires to help others achieve their oneness with God.   Balance karma by transforming negative energy into positive energy Every action has a reaction or consequence so it is important to be mindful of what we think, say, and do in this world. Negative karma is the greatest detractor from being able to go higher in the afterlife. You have to be lighter, as if you were going up in a balloon. You can’t have a lot of ballast!   Oftentimes, it is much easier to balance karma while on earth and sometimes we have to clean up our mistakes where we first made them.  A little sacrifice here, coupled with self-discipline, determination, and sometimes doing what we have to do rather than what we’d like to do will give us tremendous options in the next world.   Further, in Messages from Heaven we are reminded that:   “…everything happens for a reason. There are no coincidences. Therefore, if a difficult person enters your life, do not spend your time condemning him, but rather ask yourself, ‘What can I learn from this person? What would it take for me not to lose my harmony over this person? This does not mean that you condone the person’s actions, but it does mean that you are alert to the possible test.   I did not always see the test when I was in embodiment, and I would get annoyed with various individuals. But my salvation was that I never held a grudge or spent hours of my life focusing on one person’s treatment of me.”   Embrace self-awareness and soul resolution Soul resolution comes from understanding and healing your past. It is the foundation for personal growth and spiritual evolution. Therefore, it is important to identify and work through your emotional and mental blocks while striving to heal past wounds and clear limiting beliefs.   One way to achieve soul resolution is to begin to strive to clean up your thoughts and feelings. If you read books and other materials about those who have had near-death experiences (NDEs), they tell us that our thoughts are transparent in the next world and therefore known to all whom we encounter. This means we won’t be able to think one way and act another! This has really helped me to understand that I must genuinely develop thoughts and feelings which are less judgmental and free of criticism towards others if I want to make real progress in this and the next world.   Our aspiring soul from Messages from Heaven  offers additional insight for working out our psychology, the role of forgiveness, and dealing with unworthiness.    How do you work out your psychology on the other side?   “It is much harder here. We can see everything, but we are dependent on situations that will allow us to work things out. When you are in embodiment, you have constant opportunities to change - to select the higher path, to address your psychology. And yet many remain blinded to their bad habits, as I did.   On this side, we must pray for opportunities of service that will allow us to transcend these momentums.   We are accountable to wrestle with our emotions and to come into harmony concerning the events and choices of this lifetime. If we do this, God in his infinite mercy will help us transmute patterns from past lives that we do not remember or understand in our outer consciousness.”   The role of forgiveness   “…The lack of it closes doors to spiritual advancement. When you understand how elegant the cosmic justice system is, you realize that all do and will account for their deeds.   Ours is to forgive and not to judge. You are forgiving the soul of another so as not to hold back that one’s growth or your own. You are not condoning the action. If you cannot forgive, you must realize that you are creating a point of vulnerability in your psychology and you should pray fervently for a change of heart.   Ask yourself, ‘Is there anyone that I’m allowing to keep me from my spiritual progress because I cannot forgive them?”   What about unworthiness?   “Unworthiness that will not go away has usually been present for more than one lifetime. We have all performed acts that were not worthy of God or we would not still be in embodiment. Some people fear being whole. If they truly let go of their sense of unworthiness, they would have to acknowledge their wholeness in Christ.   Unworthiness creates a tremendous block between the individual and the fulfillment of his divine plan. Trust that you will be given opportunities to work out any violation of God’s laws. You do not need to impose a life sentence on yourself.    Try repeating this mantra for several weeks: ‘Christ in me is worthy.’   We cannot judge ourselves or others; this is God’s alone to do. Wherever you are today, go forward. Do not keep staying in the past. If you cannot free yourself, seek spiritual guidance or counseling.   You are the parent of your soul. You are limiting your soul when you say, ‘Nothing you do – no matter how many decrees, right actions or acts of kindness you perform – will make you worthy in my eyes.’ A sense of unworthiness can lead to a false idolatry of others because you are unwilling to acknowledge your own worth.”   In summary,   “Do not get stuck in self-reproach. Make each day count toward the new directions that you want to take. Extra points are given for lessons you have genuinely learned and tests you have passed, even if not on the first try.”   Discover your purpose and fulfill it with passion and commitment I wasn’t one of the ones whose professional career path aligned neatly with my true passion or purpose. Early on in my career, I asked my dad for advice on this and he told me: “Use your everyday job to pay your bills, and find what truly interests you—pursue it for free if you have to.”   I followed my dad’s guidance for many years, and it led to many valuable and rewarding experiences. I hope one day to thank my dad in the heaven world for providing me with such valuable insight.   More recently, a young woman who is part of our team here at Violet Flame World, has to occasionally remind me that developing these blog posts and other violet flame content is a “passion project” and not a job. She’s right!   Life can be so meaningful when you know or discover your true calling. Your purpose is unique to you so be sure to take ample time to reflect, explore, and listen to your inner guidance. And as you begin to discover your true purpose, you can indeed begin to fulfill it with passion and commitment.   Give violet flame regularly to create and amplify positive energy The violet flame is the secret ingredient in life’s recipe! And just as eggs and flour are essential to cooking, the violet flame can be seamlessly woven into every transformative step outlined in “Seven for the Soul."   In our final excerpt from Messages from Heaven our soul friend offers some profound insight and understanding regarding the violet flame:   “If I discovered the violet flame and was thinking as an entrepreneur, it would be the equivalent of finding a marketable fountain of youth.   As you know, I did not understand the violet flame while I was in embodiment. This is one of my greatest regrets as I look back on my life. The violet flame is perhaps the greatest dispensation that you have been given, yet many take it for granted.   The violet flame is what Jesus used in many of his miracles. Purple has been thought to be both a royal and holy color; adepts of all ages have known of its power. If you have an illness, the violet flame can reverse the entire condition, unless the illness is a karmic necessity for your spiritual evolution.   The Masters [2] believe in seeking the consultation of a doctor. It may be a person’s karma to go through treatment, including surgery and medication. The violet flame can assist in the speed of recovery and the success of any procedure.    The violet flame is the foundation for the New Age. We will enter this age successfully only to the degree that we comprehend and utilize this flame .”   Preparing for Graduation – Putting the Violet Flame into Practice   How fortunate we are to have the opportunity to give the violet flame while we are still here on Earth where we can spend precious moments directing it into the distant past and future of our soul’s evolution! The violet flame can be given and experienced in many ways including through mantra, decree, music, and meditation. Following are just a sample of some of these practices to assist you on your personal, heavenly journey.     The violet flame is invaluable in changing negative energy into positive energy. Positive energy rises into your causal body and after the balance of light in your being becomes greater in heaven than on earth your soul can rise into the heart of the I AM THAT I AM, in the heart of God’s Presence, in what is called the ascension. The spiritual path is ultimately the path of the ascension. The ascension simply means you have passed your tests and are now qualified to graduate with honors from the schoolroom called Earth. And when you ascend, it’s not an end but a beginning, because after the ascension you have the freedom to move through other dimensions and to learn, love, and create as never before! [3]   Until next time… “All that seems so real (I know it did to me) – the opinions of others, the recognition of others, worldly success and comfort – is worth nothing here. You are measured by your heart and the degree to which you have  advanced in compassion, wisdom and the use of God’s power.” – from the book Messages from Heaven Footnotes [1] Messages from Heaven  by Patrica Kirmond [2] A reference to the Ascended Masters. The Ascended Masters are our elder brothers and sisters who have gained mastery here on Earth and are no longer required to re-embody. Theirs is a level of light and consciousness we should all strive for! • Friends in High Places - Omri-Tas our Violet Flame Helper!

Welcome to our latest Blog Post in an ongoing series entitled Friends in High Places – our Violet Flame Helpers.  In this post, we are going to introduce you to a new violet flame Master known as Omri-Tas!   Before we learn more about Omri-Tas, let’s review a bit of some of Earth’s ancient or lost civilizations.  Over the ebb and flow and highs and lows of Earth’s long evolution, some civilizations have reached great attainment in spiritual and scientific innovation. History and literature are full of stories about legendary places such as Shangri-La, Atlantis, Lemuria, and others. [1]  Shangri-La (also known as Shamballa) is featured in the 1937 Frank Capra classic movie, Lost Horizon Earth is a planet where the struggle between Light and Darkness has been taking place for a very long time. Indeed, as Mark Twain once said, “Truth is stranger than fiction…”   And this brings us back to the introduction of our latest Violet Flame Helper, Omri-Tas.   Who is Omri-Tas and where does he live?   Omri-Tas is a great violet flame Master who lives and serves on the Violet Planet. He holds the office of ruler of the Violet Planet. We do not know where the Violet Planet is located but we understand Omri-Tas and others there have a very special kinship with Earth and its people.   Across the Violet Planet, one hundred and forty-four thousand priests tend the violet flame day and night and perform ceremonies and rituals of the violet flame at thousands of altars. Their civilization is free from commercialization, disharmony, disunity and all related causes of distress.   But it wasn’t always this way…   Omri-Tas has revealed that the people of the Violet Planet once approached a great and existential crisis. Some with hidden and dark agendas began moving among the people - leading them astray, pursuing divide-and-conquer tactics, and blurring the issues of the day.     Some awakened and recognized the urgency of the hour and against great odds turned the tide with the violet flame. There was such a saturation of the Violet Planet with the violet flame that the planet entered into a golden age  because of a relative few who responded. Today, the Violet Planet is sustained in a golden age because the people have not lost the memory of what was almost a planetary holocaust. Life on the Violet Planet Today There are many beautiful and wonderful places here on Earth to live and visit.  And if there was one other place outside the Earth I would like to spend some time it would be the Violet Planet!  Consider life on the Violet Planet: The citizens of the Violet Planet use the violet flame to tend to all the needs of daily life. All the homes on the Violet Planet receive a charge of violet fire in much the same manner we receive electrical current upon transmission lines. This violet fire is contacted by the people and used on special instruments for combing their hair, washing themselves, and cleansing their homes. Menial chores are performed by violet-flame angels  and nature spirits, which allows the people time to pursue the path of adeptship  and to serve other planetary homes.   On the Violet Planet, the hue of the skin of the people living there has the aura and the light of the pink-violet color. The people are fair-haired and there is the violet eye as well as the blue. These souls have transcended all levels of race or race consciousness. Their bodies reflect not race but the Light they have embodied!   Were you to visit the Violet Planet, you would see how the violet flame directed from all of the chakras of the people into every area of life does eliminate drudgery, woe and want, along with pain and sickness. All the elements of a golden-age are in full progress on the Violet Planet including science, God-government [2], cosmic music, a path of education and acceleration for their citizens and all that you can imagine of a golden age.   Getting there – your opportunity to visit the Violet Planet   Did you know you can visit the Violet Planet while you sleep?!  We invite you to journey to visit Omri-Tas and the Violet Planet at night.  As you place your body to rest at bedtime, you can give this brief prayer:   “In the name of my I AM Presence, I call for an angel of light to escort me in my etheric body to the Violet Planet this night. Let it be done according to God’s will.”   We hope these nighttime journeys will leave you refreshed and even more inspired to give the violet flame to help make Earth more like the Violet Planet!    Getting to know Omri-Tas better Omri-Tas has one hundred and forty-four thousand priests of the sacred fire serving under his direction. You may call upon at any time for an intense and fiery release of the violet flame on your behalf.  Call upon them often!   Omri-Tas is known to visit the Earth on the 3rd day of each month. He carries such a quantity of violet flame  in his aura that it extends far beyond the actual size of planet Earth.  And because he is so close to us during this time we have even greater access to his mentorship, guidance, and momentum when giving the violet flame!   Give 15 or more minutes of Violet Flame mantras, decrees, and affirmations daily. Here are some excellent places to begin! When we give the violet flame with great devotion, concentration, and gratitude Omri-Tas can multiply the benefits of the violet flame ten times (10X) in our lives!  This action can multiply 15 minutes of violet flame in the videos above into an even greater gift of 150 minutes!   Sing to Omri-Tas.  Here is a joyful violet flame song to Omri-Tas you can sing and share with children and other family members! We are very grateful for the opportunity to assist you to learn more about Omri-Tas and look forward to being with you again soon here at Violet Flame World.   Until next time… Footnotes and Other Information: [1] Recommended Reading and Viewing: For more information on the Omri-Tas and the Violet Planet, we recommend the book: The Masters and Their Retreats by Summit University Press Phylos the Tibetan, A Dweller on Two Planets Unveiled Mysteries – Saint Germain Press (chapter on Buried Cities of the Amazon) James Churchward, The Lost Continent of Mu Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers – The Power of Myth: Programs 1-6 Lost Horizon – the classic 1937 movie by director Frank Capra. • Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife - Part 2 of 4

Welcome to part 2 of our ongoing series, Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife . In this post, we will uncover the fascinating possibilities that await you after passing from this life and journeying into the next. The Power of Perspective Our adventure begins with an anecdote of two souls and their respective experiences upon reaching the Pearly Gates: A man had recently passed on and found himself standing before the Pearly Gates of Heaven. He was inherently good but had faced many challenges in life. A magnificent angel greeted him. The angel asked, “How was it down there on earth?” The man replied, “It was pretty rough. People were mostly rude to one another. There seemed to be injustice and unresolved problems everywhere.” After listening intently, the angel replied, “Well, come on in. I think that’s how you’ll find things here!” Soon after, a second man arrived at the Pearly Gates and met the same angel. He too was a good man who had faced challenges. The angel asked him, “How was it down there on earth?” The second man replied, “There were challenges, but there was goodness in many people. There was great beauty in many places on Earth. Nearly everyone treated one another as they would like to be treated.” After listening, the angel replied, “Well, come on in. I think that’s how you’ll find things here!” This anecdote teaches us a valuable lesson. At the moment of our passing, we often find ourselves unchanged in consciousness and surroundings compared to our life on Earth. For example, we do not suddenly become adept or saintly in the afterlife if we had no inclination to be one while we were alive! Understanding the Etheric Plane The following chart illustrates the 33 levels of the etheric plane, or heaven world, alongside the 33 levels of the astral plane, often referred to as hell. In this blog, we will focus on the heaven world—what it’s like and how you might reach it at the end of this life. We hope to inspire you to aim for these higher realms and avoid the astral plane or lower realms altogether! I was raised in a Christian home, and when I first encountered this information years ago, some concepts felt unfamiliar and uncomfortable. If you feel the same way, I encourage you to place those parts on the “back burner” for now. What may seem unclear today could take on a new meaning later. Think of it like school—when you’re in grade school, college can seem intimidating. But over time, everything starts to become clearer! The Physical Plane The Earth is where we occupy the physical plane. It is the crossroads between the etheric and astral planes. This is why we sometimes experience, feel, and express the vibrations of both. The earlier anecdote of the two souls at the Pearly Gates illustrates this beautifully. Going Up! Metaphorically speaking, the etheric plane or heaven world is organized like a schoolroom. Once you’ve mastered one level, you graduate to the next, and then the next—continuing on if you choose to apply yourself! Levels 1-3 of the etheric plane are referred to as Devachan, a realm where you may experience unfulfilled desires from your earthly life. Note that this does not include sensual desires. The sensual desires of your lower nature are left at the door, so to speak, of the etheric octave or heaven world. In Devachan, your negative karma is temporarily set aside, allowing you to experience your good karma while learning things that will prepare you for your next life. In the classic movie Field of Dreams , Ray Kinsella builds a baseball field in the middle of his cornfield after receiving a prompting that “If you build it, they will come.” The baseball field becomes a portal between worlds where the souls of deceased baseball players can come and live out baseball-related and other desires they did not fulfill in life. Watch this moving scene where Ray unexpectedly discovers his true reason for building the baseball field. Continuing Through the Etheric! Level 7 of the etheric plane mirrors life on the planet Venus. Long ago, the evolutions of Venus attained enlightenment and peace during a golden age. They experience a greater light and beauty than we have so far attained on Earth. Life on Venus cannot be perceived by those of us on Earth because it exists at another dimension or wavelength. The concept of dimension, wavelength, and vibration can be partly understood by observing an airplane propeller. As the propeller spins, it is plainly visible. But as the rotation becomes faster, the propeller begins to disappear from our sight. Yet, it is still there, spinning away! Level 12 of the etheric plane is known as The Buddhist Tushita heaven or “pure land.” This is where Maitreya Buddha and his disciples, the bodhisattvas, abide. Level 18 of the etheric plane is where the Ascended Masters reside. The Ascended Masters are our elder brothers and sisters who have gained mastery here on Earth and are no longer required to re-embody. This realm is one of light and consciousness and we should all aspire to make it here at the end of this life! Above the 33rd level of the etheric plane, we pass from the material world into the absolute world of spirit. God is indeed limitless! Messages from Heaven is a fascinating book chronicling the experiences of a soul who passed from this world and was given the opportunity to communicate with family members here on Earth. The following excerpt describes what this soul experienced and shared from the etheric plane: “The spiritual realm is much more magnificent but also much more complex than I had ever imagined. Yes, there is heaven, but heaven has many layers, or levels. People do not all go to the same location. If you think about Divine Justice, how could there be only one heaven and one hell when there are many different types of souls who walk this Earth? Do we not all know at least one person who radiates a spiritual sense stronger than most others we have met? What you find within the category of heaven are different etheric levels with etheric retreats. These retreats are run by angels or ascended hosts. Within what we have called ‘hell,’ there are multiple levels of the astral plane, including hell. Each level going down in vibration intensifies in severity and in the recalcitrance of the souls sent there. In the etheric plane, each level going up in vibration intensifies in its light and in the spiritual purity of the souls there.” This excerpt from Messages from Heaven offers valuable clarity into the biblical passage: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” What a blessing it is to have this material to help illuminate the mystery and vastness of the next world and the etheric planes! The Journey Ahead This concludes our overview of the levels of the etheric plane or heaven world that await us. In part 3 of our ongoing series, Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife , we will share specific afterlife experiences we believe will further inspire you to aim for the stars at the end of this life! • Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife - Part 1 of 4

I had “that dream” again the other night. It’s the one where I am back in school, suddenly realizing I forgot to drop a class or have an upcoming final exam in a class I didn’t attend or study for! Perhaps you have had this or a similar dream. After all these years, “that dream” still surfaces in me from time to time. I interpret this dream symbolically. It signals that something in my life needs my attention or preparation. Our lives often unfold as a series of events or challenges. We don’t always anticipate or prepare for them due to fear or other circumstances. I remember clearly the last week of my father’s earthly life. He shared with me some regrets, and one stood out in particular. During his professional career, my dad was approached by a well-known businessman. This man sought someone with an accounting background who was dependable and trustworthy. My father had all these attributes and was quickly offered the position, along with a promise of good compensation and value in the company. Ultimately, my dad turned down the offer. In his final week, he shared that this was one of his biggest regrets. He realized that he had not accepted the job due to fear of the unknown and a sense of unworthiness. As I grow older (and hopefully wiser!), I experience my own regrets and occasional feelings of unworthiness. Regrets are not unusual. In the international best-selling book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying , author and hospice nurse Bronnie Ware observed a pattern of regrets among her patients, including: I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. I wish I had let myself be happier. I noticed the word “courage” appears in two of these regrets. The lack of courage often equates to fear. Fear can keep us from fulfilling our highest potential in this world and hinder our progress in the next. "Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less." - Marie (Madam) Curie When we talk to people or read surveys, we discover some of the biggest recurring fears in life. These include public speaking, heights, going to the dentist, and dying. One of our hopes in part one of this three-part blog series is to demystify the change called death, making it less fearful. After all, our souls are on a continuum of birth and rebirth (reincarnation) here on Earth. Our ultimate goal is to graduate with honors from Earth’s schoolroom. This way, we can live, serve, and evolve in higher dimensions across God’s vast creation! To begin our journey together, we want to share an excerpt from the TV series The Twilight Zone . It features a moving encounter between an elderly woman, who has feared death her entire life, and an angel played by a very young Robert Redford. In upcoming posts in this series, we will continue exploring your options for the afterlife. We’ll describe some events you will likely encounter in the next world. Additionally, we hope to inspire you and offer the best tools available. This way, you can reach the highest possible level in the next world while avoiding the pitfalls or “hell” of our own creation! Setting the Sail in Life Remember, what determines where you go when you leave this Earth is your state of consciousness and your actions during your life. You set the sail! As you approach the end of this life, remember that you must be the captain of your ship. Set your sail for where you want to go and what you want to be. Don’t let someone else do it for you. For now, I leave you with a beautiful poem by Henry Van Dyke called Gone From My Sight . It uses the metaphor of a ship sailing over the horizon to describe death. The poem offers solace by suggesting that a loved one's passing is not an ending but a continuation of their journey. Gone From My Sight by Henry Van Dyke I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull, and spar as she was when she left my side. And she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me—not in her. And just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying... Our story continues in part 2 of Exploring Your Options for the Afterlife

  • Experiences in “Forgetting Self” - The Role of Violet Flame in Healing

It has been a grace in this life that I have enjoyed relatively good health. There was, however, one time a few years ago I had to have a medical procedure to fix a heart condition.  This was all a new and unfamiliar experience for me so I am pretty sure I was more worried and focused on “self” then many others would have been.   What follows is not intended to be medically “graphic” for “graphic’s sake”.  Looking back now, it’s clear that I needed a few experiences and additional  drama to get my full attention!   My story begins during the postoperative (post-op) stage in the recovery room. As I slowly regained consciousness and oriented myself to my surroundings, I observed that the recovery room was a busy place and everyone working there was very focused.   The next thing which happened was that I tried to cough – a condition I found out later was due to the effects of the anesthesia. After hearing me cough, one of the nurses came over and said “Uh oh, you shouldn’t have done that”. I could not yet talk but was told the strain of coughing had opened up some of the stitches in my “lower regions” and I was now bleeding.   Very soon, I had three nurses gathered around examining and discussing the best way to fix me up.  And for good measure, a fourth one “stopped by” on her way to lunch to watch and learn too. Note:  After hearing this story, my wife did not cut me any slack. She told me “After you’ve been through childbirth, come back and then we’ll talk!”   Unbeknownst at the time, I had begun to learn my first lesson of the day:   Lesson #1 – Learn to accept with humility the help which others are giving.   After what I like to call the “carnival show” was over one nurse told me I would now need to lay very quietly for 4-6 straight hours so as not to risk re-opening the stitches.     To Throw or Not to Throw a Pity Party Since I had to lay still and be quiet, there was little to do.  I could have thrown an excellent “pity party” at this point.  But instead, I decided to just listen to what was going on around me.  Then, I observed and learned what was really happening:   •  One man nearby was crying because he had to go to the bathroom on the bed. The nurse, in a demonstration of great compassion, told him it was ok and that it was her job to assist him and clean up.    •  Another man farther away was also crying and calling out in great pain. His cries were very sobering and stirred great compassion in me for what he was going through.   •  My final recollection in the recovery room was hearing a hushed conversation between a doctor and his assistant about what they had found earlier while operating on a patient. The patient was not going to “make it” and they were trying to determine the best way to inform both the patient and his  family. And thus, my second lesson of the day had begun:   Lesson #2 – Forget Self!   I realized these events and conversations had been happening around me the entire time – I just hadn’t been aware of them because all my attention was focused on "self”.   After taking all of this in and thinking about it I remembered I had something to offer – the opportunity to pray silently and envision (even though I could not physically see them) the violet flame around everyone in need.   And finally, just to be sure I had fully absorbed lesson #2 , the attendant who wheeled me to my room later never asked me (i.e. the “self”) how I was doing or feeling.  Instead, he told me he and his wife were getting divorced and how difficult it was for him. He even asked for advice on what to do next!   The Role of Violet Flame in Healing The violet flame can go a long way towards healing of all kinds – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual!  And although I didn’t learn it that day in the recovery room there is a third lesson which is highly applicable to this blog post.   Lesson #3 – the violet flame can indeed heal but there are several intertwining and important points to remember:  •  The Will of God   •  Karmic circumstance (i.e. does the karma of a particular individual warrant healing?)   •  Degree of mitigation (i.e. one may only experience a burn on the hand versus losing their life in a fire!)   •  Healing is typically the  most challenging to achieve once the condition becomes physical.  Therefore, it can sometimes be easier to experience healing within the emotional, mental, and spiritual parts of ourselves.    And as always, an important part of living a balanced life is applying the violet flame holistically and practically.  As my chiropractor once told me – “If I break my leg, I don’t need a chiropractor, I need a surgeon!”    No matter what’s going on in life there is almost always something or someone around with a greater need. This is a lesson I will always remember and one which I am grateful to have an opportunity to share.   I hope you too will remember these lessons in humility and “forgetting self” so you can apply the violet flame everywhere and as often as possible!   And much like the proverb, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” we may just discover that “the violet flame given each day, might also help keep the doctor away!” Until next time... “There are three great steps in man’s progress to perfection, and these are all included under the one word: self-control. Separately they are: control of body, control of mind, control of heart. Great is he who controls the body, still greater he who controls the mind, but greatest of all, he who controls the heart.”  - from the book Brother of the Third Degree by Will Garver

  • The Power of Water and the Violet Flame in Your Daily Life!

Have you ever heard the old saying “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”?  We grew up hearing that a lot here at Violet Flame World. However, in our latest blog post, we believe you will discover this statement wasn’t entirely accurate.  And our evidence will come from a surprising source, water! This is one of the most interesting subjects we have researched and written about. So without further delay, let’s dive in (pun intended)! Most everyone understands the importance of water.  Approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water. Likewise, the human body is composed of 60-70% water. And with infants and newborns that number is closer to 90%! The importance of water cannot be overstated. Water is crucial for life and is used for growing our food, drinking, cooking, hygiene, manufacturing and power generation. And of course, we all know how important water is to a firefighter. Dr. Masaru Emoto Our story on the importance of water continues with Dr. Masaru Emoto who was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1943. Over a lifetime of research Dr. Emoto conducted pioneering experiments observing the effect of words, music, and prayer on water. He and others in the field of cymatics [1] revealed astonishing results of how sound can impact water, our cells, and the world around us. What follows as we take a closer look at water and its frozen crystals will reveal the healing power of uplifting speech, beautiful music, and prayer. And from there, we can truly begin to understand that water is deeply connected to our individual and collective consciousness. Dr. Emoto conducted experiments to see how thoughts and words affected the formation of untreated distilled water crystals by typing words onto paper and then taping this paper onto glass bottles of water overnight. The bottles were prepared with either a positive or a negative influence. For example, some bottles of water were wrapped with notes reading “love and gratitude”, “appreciation”, and “thank you”. This was done in various languages. No matter what language was used, the water in these bottles, when frozen, created complete crystals which were lovely to behold.  Conversely, unpleasant, incomplete, and malformed crystals were created in water exposed to bottles with typewritten notes which said “you fool,” “you make me sick”, “I will kill you” and other negative expressions. Here are some examples of water crystals photographed when exposed to positive and negative words:  Words - I can't do it Words - I can do it Word - Hope Perhaps our old saying about “sticks and stones” should be modified to say “sticks and stones may break my bones but your words can sometimes really hurt me!” Until recently, we knew this only because we could feel it. Now we can actually see it! Dr. Emoto also conducted experiments to determine what effects music had on the structure of water. He placed distilled water between two speakers for several hours while playing different music and then photographed the crystals that formed after the water was frozen. Dr. Emoto discovered that classical music formed beautiful, hexagonal crystals in freezing water.   In contrast, water exposed to harsh, inharmonious music had its crystalline formation broken apart, making it look like ugly cylindrical blobs. Interestingly, Dr. Emoto also discovered that classical music could even transform these blogs into similar beautiful, hexagonal crystals. Following are a few examples of the beautiful crystals photographed when water is exposed to uplifting music. Music - Ave Maria Music - The Beautiful Blue Danube by Johann Strauss Music - Edelweiss from The Sound of Music Music - Pachebel's Canon In experiments involving prayer, a Buddhist monk offered a prayer over toxic water. Dr. Emoto discovered that a prayer of sound coupled with intention had an extraordinary ability to restore water to its natural, harmonious, and geometric symmetry. Similarly, in experiments where a priest prayed with love and gratitude over toxic water,  the same type of beautiful crystals were formed! Here are water crystals photographed before and after prayer.  The results are powerful and inspiring!  Before prayer - the tap water of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park After prayer - the tap water of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Before prayer - Tokyo’s tap water before 500 people sent their energies of love remotely from different places in Japan. After prayer - Tokyo’s tap water after 500 people sent their energies of love remotely from different places in Japan Dr. Emoto’s groundbreaking work shows that thoughts and words, music, and prayer have a direct effect on water-crystal formation. And since our bodies are mostly water, our thoughts and words certainly affect not only ourselves, but the world around us. Indeed, Dr. Emoto once said:  “ I believe my research "validates" the idea that "the water holds and transmits information." I believe that the more we properly understand water, the more we can expand our consciousness into other dimensions. The validation for me personally has been invaluable because to be honest I could not sense the invisible world through my own sensibilities. When people would speak of the inner world of our psychology I would wonder if that was even possible, but through seeing how our thoughts have an observable effect on water I no longer doubt and it's because of this validation. ” Dr. Emoto passed away in 2014.  Fittingly, his last words were “Arigato” which means “thank you” in Japanese. Violet Flame… Come on in, the Water's Fine! Many of our blog posts here at Violet Flame World illustrate various aspects of the power of sound, the importance of good music, and the great value of individual and group prayer. And much like the water crystal experiments of Dr. Emoto, the proper and consistent use of the violet flame can have a powerful and transformative impact on our daily lives! And in this post, we are grateful to share with you for the first time a special violet flame formula! It is a particularly powerful and effective way to bless water or any liquid: Hold your glass in the palm of the left hand and place the right hand over the top of the glass, palm down. The left hand is the Omega, the receiver, which extracts impurities from the liquid. The right hand is the Alpha, the giver, with which you charge it with light as you give a simple prayer. Ask in the name of your Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self for the liquid to be demagnetized of all toxins, pollutions, impurities and then charged with the light of God. Call to the angels to bless it with the specific healing properties you need for the healing of every cell and atom of your being of any negative condition, known or unknown. Call forth and visualize the violet flame charging that liquid and changing it into a violet flame elixir of light. [2] We hope through your own experiments with the violet flame and the special blessing provided above that you too will experience the true, transformative action of the violet flame. So give it a try, “water you waiting for”? Until next time... “ When you have become the embodiment of gratitude, think about how pure the water that fills your body will be. When this happens, you yourself will be a beautiful shining crystal of light. ” - Dr. Masaru Emoto Footnotes and References: [1] Cymatics is the study of sound and vibration made visible, typically on the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane.   It is the study of visible sound and vibration where  multiple forms of universal geometry, symmetry and beauty can emerge and be seen.  [2] From the published teachings of The Summit Lighthouse Additional Reading Dr. Masaru Emoto’s stunning water-crystal photographs have enchanted millions of people around the world. He has authored a number of bestselling books including a three-volume photo collection of beautiful water crystals which have been translated into more than thirty-five languages. • How to Achieve Self-Actualization

Welcome to our latest blog post as we begin a new year together! The beginning of a new year is always a great time for self-reflection, acknowledging progress made, and making future resolutions.   The pace and perception of personal and societal change is sometimes difficult to measure over the span of just one year. Real change can sometimes only be measured and understood when looking back over a much longer period.   With this in mind, let us travel back in time a bit to the 1920’s. Back then, only one-third of homes had radio, telephone, or electricity. An even smaller percentage had indoor plumbing or refrigeration. In addition, air conditioning, central heating, computers, the internet, and television either did not exist or were in the very early stages of development. This was an era when people had to spend much more of their time working very hard just to meet the basic needs of food, shelter, and overall survival.     My grandfather once told me a story of a work-related experience he had during the 1920’s. He was offered $1 a day to clear a considerable amount of brush from some neighboring farmland. It was demanding work and there was no modern equipment such as a mulcher, brush cutter, dozer or chainsaw to help with the work.   At the time, it would have been inconceivable to my grandfather that just two generations later his own grandchildren would pay  hefty gym memberships to sweat and lift heavy things! There is a happy ending to my grandfather’s story. After several days of hard work, he awoke one morning to discover a heavy storm had come through during the night and completely washed away all the brush he had chopped and set aside to haul off!   Many of today’s modern conveniences, equipment, and technologies have eliminated much of the drudgery of years past. And with the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) this trend is expected to accelerate. We must, of course, continue to master technology rather than allow it to master us. And if understood and implemented properly, the  coming breakthroughs will provide us the opportunity to have far greater free time to pursue passion projects, personal callings, and other creative works.   Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs   When I was in college, Abraham Maslow’s [1] Hierarchy of Needs was taught as a tool to understand and address human needs, motivation, and behavior in fields such as psychology, business, healthcare, advertising, and counseling. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is typically shown as a five-category pyramid consisting of the following:   Physiological needs : The most basic needs for survival such as breathing, food, water, shelter, clothing, and sleep. Safety needs : The need for health, employment, property, family and social ability. Love and belonging : The need for friendship, family, intimacy, and sense of connection. Esteem : The need for confidence, achievement, respect of others, and the need to be a unique individual. Self-actualization : The highest level of the hierarchy, which includes morality, creativity, spontaneity, acceptance, experience of purpose, meaning, and inner potential.   Many of us, knowingly or unknowingly, work on each of these hierarchies concurrently; however, we typically need to fulfill the bottom most layer of needs before truly being able to work and focus on the next higher level and so on.   Self-Actualization –  The Goal   Self-actualization is defined as the process of realizing one's full potential and becoming the best version of oneself. Some say self-actualization is a necessary step to shift from ego-consciousness to soul-consciousness where one can truly serve others.   In Maslow's last book, he enhanced his theory of self-actualization. Maslow suggested the highest form of self-actualization actually transcends the self.  Here, we strive to be selfless and contribute to a purpose greater than ourselves while doing good for others. This version of self-actualization has been referred to as " selfless -actualization”.   Although terminology can sometimes differ, self-actualization is a fundamental outcome of the hero’s journey. Some of the characteristics found in the hero’s journey include a specific calling, a great determination to fulfill the calling, and the emergence of pure selflessness. These characteristics have been described many times in literature. Here are three inspiring examples: In the mega best-selling book “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” [2], Jonathan observes:   “Most gulls don’t bother to learn more than the simplest facts of flights – how to get from shore to food and back again. For most gulls, it is not flying that matters, but eating. For this gull, though, it was not eating that mattered, but flight. More than anything else, Jonathan Livingston Seagull loved to fly.” In the poem “Excelsior” [3] by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, our hero takes up and continues the journey with great determination no matter the cost. Here is an excerpt from the poem:   In happy homes he saw the light Of household fires gleam warm and bright; Above, the spectral glaciers shone, And from his lips escaped a groan, Excelsior! "Try not the Pass!" the old man said:" Dark lowers the tempest overhead, The roaring torrent is deep and wide! And loud that clarion voice replied, Excelsior! "Oh stay," the maiden said, "and rest Thy weary head upon this breast!" A tear stood in his bright blue eye, But still he answered, with a sigh, Excelsior! "Beware the pine-tree's withered branch! Beware the awful avalanche!" This was the peasant's last Good-night, A voice replied, far up the height, Excelsior! At break of day, as heavenward The pious monks of Saint Bernard Uttered the oft-repeated prayer, A voice cried through the startled air, Excelsior! In the classic esoteric book “Brother of the Third Degree” [4], the main character Alphonso Colono encounters a number of exceedingly difficult life choices and over time learns that “forgetting self” or “selflessness” is always the highest course of action.     The Violet Flame can help you achieve Self-Actualization  The reason the violet flame is so effective in helping you achieve self-actualization is because it helps clear negative karmic conditions and brings balance and healing to every aspect of yourself – spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. When you give violet flame mantras, affirmations, and decrees you help accelerate your journey to self-actualization and make it easier to transcend each level of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. It is one of the greatest tools you can take on your adventure. Are you ready to begin or continue your journey with the violet flame? If so, we encourage you to go to our Violet Flame Resources page to download free materials, participate in giving violet flame mantras and decrees, and discover even more about the miracle of the violet flame! • How to Grow in Compassion and Mercy

Welcome to our latest blog post from Violet Flame World – the place where we share inspiring stories and practical guidance along with the wonders of the violet flame and how to profoundly apply it in your daily life! In this blog I would like to share some of my experiences living in one of the large cities here in America.  In recent years I have witnessed a marked increase in homelessness, drug use and addiction in areas throughout the city.  Many street corners, bridges, and roadways show signs of these problems.  Recently, a family member had to step over two passed-out, homeless people to get into their office. Along with these challenges, I have noticed an accompanying increase in crime, theft and degree of addiction.  Behavior has become more brazen and threatening. Even the “help needed” signs have become mocking in nature.  In addition, we have a friend who used to cook and deliver breakfast tacos to the homeless – many who are military veterans.  Today, our friend is no longer able to perform this service because of the change in behavior of those who are addicted and homeless. These experiences have left me with a sense of frustration including an inner awareness of a “hardened heart” towards my fellow man. What is the solution to these and other problems? It is my hope that what follows in this blog post will help each of us grow in compassion and mercy. We will also endeavor to provide practical tools you can use to help create a better world. Sympathy vs. Compassion A close friend and mentor once asked me if I thought there was a difference between sympathy and compassion.  I replied that I had not given it much thought and asked what his ideas were.  He told me that sympathy, metaphorically speaking, is like jumping into the water to save someone who is in trouble and then drowning with them.  Compassion on the other hand, throws a life preserver to someone who is in trouble out in the water and then helps pull them to shore. True compassion and mercy are not sympathetic or enabling, they are transformative. This is one of the most important things to remember when you set out to help others! Insights in Compassion and Mercy from Les Misérables We all make mistakes, and mercy is a welcome unguent. In the 1998 classic movie Les Misérables  [1] , Jean Valjean has just been released from prison where he served time for stealing bread. Jean Valjean has no money and spends his first night out of prison in the home of a village priest who takes him in. During the night, Jean Valjean assaults the priest and flees his home after stealing most of his valuable silverware. He is quickly captured and the police return him to the priest so he can be formally accused. For Jean Valjean, this means his last hope is gone and he now faces imprisonment for the rest of his life. The priest comes to him and looks him in the eyes, and says, “My brother, why did you leave so quickly last night? You took only the silver. But I gave you these as well.”  And the priest places several more golden candlesticks in his hands. The priest saw something worth saving in this thief and extended mercy towards him. This act of mercy touched the core of Jean Valjean’s being. From that moment on, he wanted to live with honor and service towards life. How to Grow in Compassion and Mercy Following are some tips and recommendations for growing in compassion and mercy. We hope you will find them helpful along life’s journey! • As mentioned earlier, mercy is not sympathetic or enabling.  Mercy is transformative. • Do not miss the Jean Valjeans who walk through your life. Mercy changes the giver as well as the receiver. • Pray continually for mercy and always be willing to grant it to others. • Brighten the corner where you are.  The ultimate path to real, lasting, and profound change is always to change or transform oneself.  The following lyrics from the song “Brighten the Corner Where You Are” [2] wonderfully confirm this: Do not wait until some deed of greatness you may do Do not wait to shed your light afar To the many duties ever near you now be true Brighten the corner where you are Here for all your talent you may surely find a need Here reflect the bright and Morning Star Even from your humble hand the Bread of Life may feed Brighten the corner where you are • Remember, we are all one.  What impacts one of us affects all of us. • Give violet flame often on behalf of yourself and others. As you know, the violet flame is the cornerstone of what we share here at Violet Flame World.  And there are numerous blog posts on our site which discuss how it works and how to apply it! • Refrain from criticizing others.  Remember, the Master does not condemn - but does not condone either.   • Be mindful of your thoughts and feelings towards others. Our thoughts and feelings will be transparent to all in the next world so why not start upgrading them today? • Incorporate pink into your wardrobe and decor. Mercy is a quality of the violet flame. It is the pink-ray aspect of the flame. It is a God-quality to which everyone should aspire. • Guard your heart but always keep it open and attuned to the needs of others. The surest path to divine mercy is the violet flame! • Give Kuan Yin Mantras. Ask Kuan Yin to tutor your soul in the flame of mercy, for truly she is the Master Teacher of this holy attribute.  These mantras also release violet flame - a high frequency spiritual energy known to improve physical and spiritual conditions as well as overcome karma! In closing, we leave you with an original song entitled The Stranger on the Street. We hope you will find it moving and that it will further inspire you to grow in compassion and mercy.  Until next time… Footnotes and other Info [1] - Movie Les Misérables – 1998.  View trailer at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naIepsokKaI [2] - Brighten the Corner Where You Are – written by Charles H. • Discover a World of Light with One-Minute Mantras (O.M.M)

When I was very young, I remember my dad watching some of the original Monday Night football games with great interest. These games would typically run late (by next-day working standards) so he would often go to bed before the game was over. And the next morning, it was very difficult to find out which team had won. There were no smart phones or internet and even the daily newspaper had been printed well before the outcome. When my dad really wanted to know the outcome of a game he would try and contact a local news station or newspaper the next day.   Unless you lived a part of your life during these times, it seems almost impossible to believe the availability of information could ever have been so limited!      Indeed, the World is changing and continues to change. Time and space are collapsing (aren’t they illusions to begin with?) as electronic communication and the flow and availability of information worldwide becomes near instantaneous. This transformation brings great opportunity along with challenges such as information overload, a need for better time management, and greater discernment of truth in the information available to us. This transformation will continue and accelerate as 3D technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other new technologies become a bigger part of our lives.   At Violet Flame World we believe the hallmark of any great Age or era is defined by accelerated advancements in both technology and spirituality. At present, it appears a spiritual awakening or quickening is needed to keep pace with all of today’s electronic and technology advances!    How do we help achieve such an awakening in an already busy and often overloaded world? We believe one of the solutions is to participate in giving One-Minute Mantras or "OMM" as we like to call them! Discover a World of Light with One-Minute Mantras (O.M.M)! These short but powerful mantras are personally and mutually beneficial. At a personal level, you can experience their calming and transformational benefits while in the shower, when waiting in traffic, between business meetings or classes, and at the beginning or ending of each day. The benefits are only limited by your imagination and constancy in giving them!   In addition, when you give these mantras, you are helping to build and strengthen what is known as an Antahkarana or spiritual web of Light.  What is an Antahkarana? Antahkarana is a Sanskrit word meaning “internal sense organ”.  It is the web of life and understood as a net of light spanning Spirit and Matter which sensitizes the whole of creation and connects us to the heart of God. In many ways, an Antahkarana is the spiritual counterpart of today’s internet!   Each time you repeat a one-minute mantra you can think of it as doing crochet where the completion of each interlocking loop is helping create a beautiful shawl or some other comforting garment to wear. A sample of one-minutes mantras, decrees, and fiats are available below. All use the power of sound to help you discover your own your world of Light and create a greater and more powerful Antahkarana. Plus, they release violet flame - a high frequency spiritual energy known to improve physical and spiritual conditions as well as overcome karma! We will be releasing many new, one-minute mantras in the future so be sure and check our YouTube Channel  regularly for updates!      Until next time… Credits and other info: • Picture of Antahkarana from The Summit Lighthouse • Additional one-minute mantras can be found at this special playlist on our Violet Flame World YouTube Channel • Each year on May 1 you can participate with thousands of others around the world in giving violet flame and other healing mantras. • Finding Resolution with the Violet Flame

It’s the start of a new year here at Violet Flame World.  And it brings great hope and expectation this will be a year of peace, prosperity, and inspiration. At the beginning of a new cycle such as a new year we often make resolutions of change. Many times, we begin with great determination and good intention only to discover later we did not follow through or accomplish all of our goals.     Oftentimes, it seems our lives and actions follow a pattern similar to a sign I once saw in a friend’s laundry room - Wash, Dry, Fold, Repeat. Indeed, life can sometimes feel like the unending pattern conveyed in this sign.  And it reminds me of some advice about change a wise person shared with me many years ago. At the time I was going through a difficult relationship and was reaching out for answers – something which could help release me from the same recurring patterns and outcomes.  Here’s what I was told:   There are 3 things you can do to create change in your life. They are:   •  Change the other person   •  Walk away   •  Change yourself   At the time, I remember thinking this was good, commonsense advice and didn’t think any of the choices should be too difficult to achieve.  I offered my thanks for this advice and went to leave the room.  At that moment, the wise person added with a slight smile:  “Oh, and by the way, 2 of these choices won’t work!”   I remember being somewhat upset at the loss of 2 of the newly discovered options for change. In fact, I had to ask which one of the remaining options would work!    The answer went something like this:   You can try and change another person, but we all have free will.  And, you may experience further conflict by trying to change someone into something they aren’t meant to become.  In addition, the other person may not see any reason to change or isn't ready yet.  (Years later, I heard a variation of this from another wise individual who said:  A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still!)   You can try walking away but most times the situation you are attempting to free yourself from recreates itself later in the form of a similar challenge  - perhaps with a different face but one which will still result in your needing to resolve or change something about yourself. Therefore, the only thing you can truly change is yourself.  And yes, this sometimes requires great effort. However, the potential for success is limitless because as you make positive, constructive change the original challenge will have less and less power or influence in your world.  And then you will experience the true freedom which accompanies your overcoming.   True and lasting change is not always easy.  And this is why I believe so many of the world’s spiritual thinkers, teachers, and writers left us with great insight to help show the way. Consider the following:   You must be the change you wish to see in the world.  - Mahatma Gandhi If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. - Wayne Dyer   We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses. - Carl Jung   If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading. - Lao Tzu   Change in all things is sweet. - Aristotle   The real law of growth in the universe is:  Either accelerate or decelerate. You may choose to stay in the same place but that's wishful thinking. It doesn't happen.  - Elizabeth Clare Prophet   In fact, Mrs. Prophet went on further to say:  …Change is the order of the day. Change is acceleration. Change is alchemy. It is the violet flame. Finding Resolution with the Violet Flame Resolutions to lose weight, exercise more, or overcome habit all require time and determination before you begin experiencing results. The same is true when you apply the violet flame in your life.   At Violet Flame World, we recommend giving 15 minutes (or more!) of violet flame daily.  At first, you may not notice or feel like much is happening.  However, the process is similar to the growth of a flower or tree – once the seed is planted most of the early transformation is occurring beneath the ground!   We believe the violet flame is an important part of the true change and freedom the World is waiting for.  And it can begin with you !      Without doubt, giving the violet flame daily is one resolution worth making and keeping.   To learn more about the violet flame or to begin applying it in your life visit our Resources Page   where you will find a free, downloadable violet flame ebook along with introductory violet flame videos, mantras, and meditations.    May this new year be your best year yet! Until next time…
